I continue to be smitten with the Browning A-Bolt and the 6.5mm creedmoor cartridge... So much so, I got her some new glasses :-) and it's been real fun reloading for it. Since it's not nearly as common as some other calibers out there, the recent shortages have been relatively easy to get around.

Hello everyone!

I happen to live in a state adjacent to Nevada, and I can see myself needing to carry there on occasion. Because Nevada is picky and often capricious about which states' licenses they will recognize, I am thinking that my best bet is to obtain a Nevada license. Since I don't live in Nevada, does anyone know how one can go about obtaining a Nevada CCW? Does one have to travel to Nevada?

Much obliged!

I presume that everyone already knows about the 3d-printable Liberator pistol that was published by the Defense Distributed. And I presume everyone knows that our State Department declared this publication in violation of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and demanded the information to be removed from the website. (If not, here is the story and the website)

Now, remember how they always tell us that the new UN treaty on gun control is not going to affect our Second Amendment rights? This even was made a snopes item on how it is simply not possible!

When we get back to that discussion, we should remember this incident when an international treaty was used to violate both Second and First Amendment rights.

For most of my time within the shooting community, I've heard people say the AK-47 and variants there-of are inaccurate. But, then again, I've heard people say WD40 makes a good gun lubricant.

So, what I'd like to ask is: for those of you who have AKs and guns based off of them, what do you have and how accurate is it, in MOA or inches at 100 yards?

I'm an accuracy snob. I freely admit it. I give leeway to my pistol-cartridge carbines, but other rifles I will feel something is amiss if I cannot get any groups that are 2 MOA or less.

I want one, but, if it's going to be putting out foot-wide groups at 100 yards, I'll be unhappy.
