Larry Correia on how fiscal responsibility is terrorism, in leftspeak

Truth doesn’t matter.  It is all about the narrative.  And the new narrative is that people that think the government spends too damn much money are evil terrorists.

This is another part of my conviction that both major parties in US politics have completely lost their way.  It's not so much a case of throwing the baby out with the bathwater, as that the bathtub is overflowing and the baby is drowning while the Republican and Democrat parties are pulling each other's hair, trying their best to break each other's toys in revenge, and calling each other doody-heads in their screaming argument about what's the proper way to turn off the effing tap.  They've both completely forgotten that the baby is even in the tub.

Hmmmm....

-1 - No link back to the source of his lead-off graphic.
-1 - Lack of nuance in his arguments. (The government is like a bucket with a leaky hole in it. Throwing extra water in the bucket doesn’t fix the problem. You need to plug the hole. True. However, throwing extra water in does help keep the water level, um, level while forming the Bondo...)
-1 - All opinion, no numbers. More: borderline whiny. This should really be -2.

I really wish Conservatives weren't so anti-intelligence. Cuz they're really not giving much to read that might convince me...

I keep seeing the Tea Party get blamed for the S&P downgrade. That is false, the ratings agencies have been talking downgrade for over a year. It was going from $500*10^9 deficits to $1.4*10^12 deficits that did it. Anything to paint the republicans as responsible. The truth is, the politicians are responsible, with the professional bloggers (paper's oppinion sections) as accomplices. Now both parties are standing with a part of the vase in each pair of hands, both wet and flowers on the floor shouting, "He did it!"

... and they are both as much right as they are wrong.
