I've always been amazed by how little most other people know about how our government is intended to function.

So here's a question...if the Tea Party Right are half-baked loons (which I really don't think they are) and seem to have more knowledge about the Republic and the principles upon which it was founded...what does that say of the Left?

Nothing good, for sure. The present-day left in particular seems to be composed of redistributionist bread-and-circuses advocates convinced that all the economic problems of the world can be solved if we just take everything the rich own and share it out equally among those hard-working SEIU employees, then give Congress the ability to regiment every moment of our daily lives lest we have a second waffle (UNHEALTHY!!!) at breakfast.

The sad part is that in many ways they're not too different from their counterparts on the right. Both parties have become dogmatic, inbred, institutionalized, incapable of meaningful change, and utterly dependent upon political contributions from corporate donors.
